Palookaville

Hailing from Hampshire Palookaville play sweet americana folk inspired by the likes of Neil Young, Wilco, Ryan Adams and Neil Finn to name a few. Singer songwriter Matt Burke (Rubek / Matt Burke) combines sensitive songwriting with memorable melodies that like to lean into the lilting warm summer vibes. Currently a trio, Matt is joined by Michael Davies (Watching the buzzards) on dreamy pedal steel guitar and astral BV’s plus the legendary fingers of Jimmy Cole (often seen playing with Martin Stephenson and the Dainties) adding his sparkling electric guitar. Palookaville are set to play a few upcoming shows this year so keep your eyes peeled if you're looking for some lazy longing and heartwarming sounds.
