Simon Maggs & People Like Us

Indie-folkie (sometimes protest-ie) songs that draw on relatable stories and contemporary social themes. Wry lyrics, occasional kitchen-sink drama stories and reflections on Simon’s northern roots combine with melancholy melodies and catchy and uplifting tunes to produce songs that capture the spirit of the likes of Paul Heaton, Billy Bragg, The Smiths, Frank Turner, Martin Stephenson and John Bramwell/I Am Kloot.
